What an emotional, melodic, reserved example of modern heaviness. This album is immensely singable without being repetitive or boring, and has an overall mellow sludgy heaviness that I can only liken to Steak Number Eight. I love this album's vibe! Dan Curhan

An interesting fusion of black metal and jazz, with inspiration from various other forms of metal. There is a lot to like here, and many pleasant surprises. However, it does not always seem to form a cohesive whole. spawnofchaos
